Stuart Hall Reception theory: the viewers of this image will decode the messages I have intended to set and decode them in different ways depending on if they like Spurs or not. This is the audience interpreting the media in different ways. the same goes for the drum kit. If a person seeing my image does not play the drums or like music, they may just gloss over it or not pay any or much attention to the drum kit, but if they are interested and share the same view as me, (dominant) then the image may stand out to them more than the burger or the image of Johnny English.

Stuart Hall representation theory: The theory states how reality is created by media producers. In this case the media producer is me, and I have created a perceived reality of my life. For example, I wavelet people know that what I like and my interests are Tottenham, the drums, burgers, Johnny English and the DJ, Sammy Virji. This is what they now associate with me even if they don't know what Im actually like in real world reality.
